Interview

How did you get to the piano?

When I was studying saxophone at the music school in my hometown, I always had a free hour break between lessons. One day I discovered an electric piano in a room that was always free, and since that day I've never stopped!

What fascinates you about the piano?

The piano feels like the dictionary of music to me, it offers many possibilities to play and gives a sense of freedom. The more I learn, the more I enjoy it. You can always discover fresh and new things on this instrument.

What is crucial for you when practicing?

Concentration, discipline and organization. When these three things are right, the practice session is always productive.p>
What do you pay particular attention to when teaching?

I always make sure that the students:in enjoy what they are doing. As a student myself, I was always lucky to have great teachers, and that feeling was always present. Thanks to that, I have never felt demotivated. It is also important to me that the student is heard and sees constant improvement on his or her part.

What has been your greatest experience as a musician so far?

Playing for people, sharing what you love to do, and seeing their happy faces and gratitude after the concert.

On which equipment do you prefer to play?

I play a very cool electric piano, the Roland FP-30, I think it has a very pleasant keyboard and the sound quality is amazing! And of course, if I could play on a Steinway, I would love to ;)

What else is important in your life besides music?

Time with friends and family. I also like to cook and do a lot of sports to relax and return to my everyday life stronger.
