Interview
Since I was a kid, I've been interested in how the piano works and how to play it.
What fascinates you about the piano?
Playing the piano is like a way to meditate, it's a way to express feelings and thoughts or just play whatever you want. It's the whole symphony orchestra that fits into a two-hand voice.
What is crucial for you when practicing?
Inspiration and discipline. When I start practicing, I first play what I like and enjoy, and only then do I start learning what I need.
What do you pay particular attention to when teaching?
Each student is an individual. I start from the desires and abilities of the student and then try to teach the knowledge and skills to discover his own talent and achieve the desired goals.
What has been your greatest experience as a musician so far?
Every time people come up to me after a concert to thank me and I see their eyes shining with happiness and joy.
On which equipment do you prefer to play?
When it comes to the piano, I prefer to play on a Yamaha C7 X PE or Steinway & Sons Model B or D. When it comes to the keyboard, I like the Nord Stage.
What else is important in your life besides music?
Friends, family, traveling, being in nature and in the mountains, self-education, psychology.
