How did you discover your instrument?
I grew up in a musical family and was encouraged to pursue my musical interests from an early age. I was already listening to metal music as a child, and at the age of nine I wanted to learn how to play it myself, so I started taking electric guitar lessons. Later, this developed into the desire to study music. During my studies, I was able to continuously expand my skills and knowledge of the instrument – and today I want to pass that knowledge on to others.
What fascinates you most about your instrument?
What fascinates me most about the electric guitar is its versatility, its expressive possibilities, and the energy with which it can be played.
What helped you the most while practising?
Seeing my own progress over time and being able to express myself on the guitar exactly as I imagine is my greatest motivation to keep practising.
What do you focus on most when teaching?
Individuality is at the heart of my teaching. I adapt my lessons to the wishes and goals of each student.
What has been your greatest experience as a musician so far?
Writing my own music and performing with my band. Seeing my own development as a musician through this journey has been a truly special experience for me.
What equipment do you enjoy playing the most?
My favourite setup is the combination of my Ibanez Prestige and the Quad Cortex.
What is important to you besides music?
Besides music, spending time with my family and friends, experiencing new things, and being able to live my life the way I want are all very important to me.
